My paranormal experience | #1

As it is October and everyone's favourite time of the year (Halloween, in case you weren't sure) is approaching, I thought I'd get into the festive spirit (get it?) with a few little ghost stories...

Depression: the silent struggle

It's definitely been a hot minute since I posted anything mental health related - that's not because I've been neglecting that element of my blog, or trying to phase it out. I feel lucky that lately I've been on the right side of my mental health and have been in a fairly good place.

This week the all-familiar sickening spiral of sadness hit me, though, and I've felt myself riding a really not fun helter-skelter into a pit of depression.

Glossybox | August 2017

So recently I was on the hunt for a new subscription box to try out, and Glossybox was highly recommended to me on Twitter! I'm a little late to the party having been away nearly all month, but here are my thoughts on August's Glossybox.

My Parisian nightmare

You may have seen recently that I visited Paris in July for the first time! I went there primarily to attend my first festival: Lollapalooza - you can read about that here! Whilst the festival was dreamy and wonderful, the same can't be said for my experience of Paris. Read on if you like hearing about other people's misfortunes!

Why it's okay to be sensitive

I was talking with my mum a while ago and she told me a story about my first day at nursery. My teacher said to her: "How would you describe Alice?" to which my mum replied, "...Sensitive." My teacher apparently thought it was sweet, but my mum told her as a warning! It made me think, though; what's wrong with being sensitive?

It's been a hot minute since I updated my skincare routine and in the last few weeks I've made some massive changes to the way I take care of my face. I'm liking the results so far, so wanted to share a really quick idea of my current routine with you!

Blogging bucket list

Do you ever read other people's blogs and just wish you could do some of the things they do?!

There's a lot of stuff I'd love to do on my blog but just can't see myself doing. I've been in a little bit of a rut lately, so thought I'd put together a short 'blogging bucket list' to inspire me to reach towards my goals and achieve more from my blog!

Carli Bybel deluxe edition palette: review

One of my first ever posts on this blog was a review [here] of YouTuber Carli Bybel's eyeshadow and highlighter palette, released in collaboration with BH Cosmetics. It's my long-standing most favourite palette to date, so when she recently released a deluxe edition of the palette I of course had to get my hands on it!

#TimeToTalk Day 2017

February 2nd 2017 is #TimeToTalk Day, campaigned by mental health organisation Time To Change. The aim of this day is to encourage people to start a conversation about mental health and keep the conversation going round the clock.

Almost 1 year ago, for my 21st birthday, I set myself 5 goals I'd like to achieve in my 21st year of life! I did an update post around April, but now it's time for the final results, as my 21st year is almost  over...
