Carli Bybel deluxe edition palette: review

One of my first ever posts on this blog was a review [here] of YouTuber Carli Bybel's eyeshadow and highlighter palette, released in collaboration with BH Cosmetics. It's my long-standing most favourite palette to date, so when she recently released a deluxe edition of the palette I of course had to get my hands on it!

The original was a 14 colour eyeshadow and highlighter palette, but now it's been upgraded to 21 colours! There are 11 of the original palette's shades but with some new added eyeshadows and highlights.

I'n glad my favourite original shades made it to the new palette, but I am also completely obsessed with the two rose gold infused shimmer shades (top right). The rose gold catches the light in the most beautiful way.

The formula is super buttery and blendable, which means that even if you're a bit of an amateur when it comes to makeup (like me) it's really easy to create some beautiful eye looks without needing a ton of fancy brushes.

The highlights are stunning and give you the most outrageous glow. There's a really nice range of shades, too, so I think there's definitely something to suit all skin tones. I personally wouldn't use the darker shades but they can double up as eyeshadow if you want a bronzy eye look!

The packaging has also had a revamp, with the outer design staying true to the old palette but inside is a bigger mirror and a gorgeous marble design which, if you know me, satisfies my marble obsession immensely! The palette itself seems a lot more sturdy as my old palette has become a little beaten up with so much use and being brought with me everywhere!

I'm in love with this palette and so happy to have some new colours to play around with. My old palette actually got a little wrecked when I took it away to Amsterdam with me and the mirror got smashed on the plane, so I'm ecstatic to have a brand new one!

The palette is available to purchase through Carli's website Pranava Beauty priced at $19.50. It ships from the US and mine took just over a week to arrive which isn't bad at all! It's totally worth the money and is amazing quality for such an affordable palette.
